I was tagged in The Next Big Thing by the lovely Romy Sommer, aka historical writer Rae Summers. Rae has a new book out called An Innocent Abroad. It's available at The Wild Rose Press and Amazon.
Now, about The Next Big Thing. Basically we have to answer 10 questions about our work in progress (wip). Here are mine:
What is your working title of your book?
Unraveled
Where did the idea come from for the book?
It’s
the third in a series I wrote called Wanton Witches. The initial concept was sparked by the idea
of having three witch-practicing rosy-cheeked aunts trying to set their niece
up on a date, which instead leads her to the love of her life.
What genre does your book fall under?
Paranormal
erotic romance
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
Hmm…not
sure actually. I did have a visual point of focus for writing my characters in
Unraveled, but they were nameless models I luckily stumbled upon and whom I
thought resembled my characters.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
The only hero destined to free Princess Tahara
from a wretched spell so she can save her kingdom from a ruthless warlock, is
Nickolas Coutrane and he isn’t one bit happy about it at all.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
I
hope to sell this book to Ellora’s Cave where book 1 and book 2 are already
available.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
It’s
a very dirty draft, but about two weeks. This was one-half of my Nano project
for 2012.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Definitely
Unbound (book 1) and Undone (book 2) since they feature the same three witch
aunts bringing their own brand of love magic to my main characters.
Who or what inspired you to write this book?
Actually,
I can’t remember specifically but I think it was my love for paranormal
romances that had me trying my hand at it.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
I
have a very sexy and stubborn hero, a klutzy witch heroine, a crazy bear, an
unintended loss of sexual history, and three lovable aunts J
Now instead of tagging five other writers, I’m only tagging four, and they are:
