LIBERATED HEART By Measha Stone

The lovely Measha Stone is here today with her latest from Blushing Books - Liberated Heart! Measha is also sharing a little about her writing!

Maybe she wasn’t made of sugar and spice. Maybe she was made of leather and lace.

Erin’s life has crumbled. Not only has her fiancé run off with another woman, she realizes their entire relationship was a joke. After some soul-searching, and Googling, she jumps head first into a world that only existed in her darkest fantasies.

Bradley Sorenson has come to terms that he will never have a lasting relationship with a submissive. After all, no woman could see to his darker needs in the playroom and continue his brand of power exchange outside of it. But when Erin shows up at his BDSM club, looking for answers to questions he’s sure she doesn’t even understand, his resolve begins to weaken.

Bradley opens the door to this new world and escorts Erin inside, promising to show her everything she wants to see and more. But just as she begins to find contentment in her true self, she receives a letter that starts a chain of blackmail that could ultimately end her new relationship. Between the blackmail and her new self-awareness, Erin must fight the urge to creep back into the cage she’s so used to hiding in, and work to liberate her heart.

He had a point, but it wasn't the same thing. It wasn’t that he wouldn’t help, it was that he couldn’t. They were a temporary thing, not long term. He couldn't fix that.
“You offered to help, Sir.” She sighed. This was not like her dreams. there was no fondling, or groping. Just more talking!
“So the next time you start to feel overwhelmed with fear, or sadness, what should you do?”
The discussion over one little reaction seemed so disproportional. “Tell you about it.”
“Yes. And why?”
Couldn’t he just start spanking her now? It had to hurt less than this continual investigation into her psyche. “Because my worries aren’t just mine anymore.”
“That’s right.” His fingers stroked the back of her thighs. “When you keep your worries from me, you tell me you don’t trust me to take care of you. You show disrespect to me by trying to taking care of it yourself. You show me that you aren’t submitting to my rule, my authority and protection.”  Well damn. He had a good point there.  She had done just that. Suddenly, she didn’t feel so confident that the rest of the punishment was going to go well. A sour feeling began to build in her chest.  “And leaving the room when you were told not to unless you had permission. What do you think that said?”
“That I don’t respect your rules.” She sniffled.  Hanging over his lap was making her nose drip.  Again, less sexy than previously thought.
“Did you agree to submit to my rules when you came home with me last night?” The spoon ran over her thighs and she nodded. “I can’t hear your head shake.” His voice darkened.
“Yes, I did, Sir.”
“Good girl.” Those two words.  His approval sent a warm tingle through her despite the cool fear of having the spoon dangerously close to her sit spot.
Whack! She jumped, flailing her arms out to the side, unprepared for the first bite of the spoon. She hadn’t been ready! His hold tightened around her waist, and he hoisted her further onto his lap, elevating his knee until her ass was higher in the air and her toes didn’t touch the ground at all.

Author Interview:

What are your ambitions for your writing career?
Every author has a different idea of what success looks like to them. For me, having readers look forward to my upcoming releases is success. I want to succeed in producing a world where my readers can lose themselves and fall in love with my characters. If I can do that, I’m successful.

So, what have you written?
I’ve written short stories that are completely non erotic and not romantic in the least. Those are mostly short thriller type stories. As for romance I’ve written 5 BDSM romances, a collection of flash fiction and short stories, and am working on my 6th novel.

Give us an insight into your main character. What does he/she do that is so special?
Erin has so much hidden strength that even she can barely see it. But it’s this strength that she has to tap into in order to reinvent herself in the world she wants to live in. And Bradley is just so damn firm in his resolve to get her out of her shell he takes my breath away.

Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I write during my lunch at work and in the evenings when at all possible.

Do you aim for a set amount of words/pages per day?
My daily goal is 1,000 words if I’m only able to get work done during lunch and 2,000 if I get the night time hours too

Do you ever get writer’s Block?
Sometimes, but I try not to let that stop me. One of the most valuable exercises I learned in college was the stream of consciousness writing. You just sit down and write, doesn’t have to make sense or even form into anything more than ramblings, but just write. So when I have trouble coming up with something, I’ll do that and usually the first few minutes are just me spewing garbage, but then something forms that is usable.

Do you let the book stew – leave it for a month and then come back to it to edit?
I do let it stew for a bit before a full edit. Fresh eyes see better.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
I know you think you can’t, but do it anyway. I stopped writing for too many years because I was afraid I’d never be as good as Julie Garwood or Amanda Quick- my favorite romance writers at the time. And I’m not still not as good as them, and probably never will be, but I don’t let that stop me anymore. And if I could go back, I’d slap my younger self upside the head and tell her to keep writing.

Discover the dark history that started the world of 'Dangerous Games' in this exciting, sexy, action-packed, erotic thriller that will keep you turning pages to find out what happens next!

“Like the view?” She peeked at him over her shoulder, and he spanked her, but she didn’t even flinch. Camille actually planted her hands on the wall and thrust her ass out further.

“Did you like that?” He asked and ran his hands around to her front, teasing her nipples until they grew hard against his fingertips.

“Yes…” she purred, bowing her back to press her breasts more firmly into his hands.

Mine.

The possessiveness he’d felt the night before when he’d seen that rich bastard flirting with her surged again, and he knew that now that he’d had her – there was no way he could let her go. Her age, her history, her steel inner core that made her impossibly stubborn and incredibly powerful, it was all just more of her, and he couldn’t get enough. “Have I mentioned that you’re perfect?” he spoke softly against her neck and he felt the shiver go through her.

“Once or twice since last night, but I’m far from fucking perfect.”

“We’ll work on your mouth.” He tried to sound stern, but it only worked because she couldn’t see the grin on his face.

“I can get on my knees again and you can work on my mouth all you want.”

There was no stifling his groan as he slid one hand down her belly between her legs, and when he swiped a finger between her thighs he found her soaking wet. “Do you want me?” he asked, and she shifted her weight from leg to leg, making her hips wiggle enticingly as he stroked her clit.

“Yes, Smith…” she whined and he chuckled.

“Alright, bend forward a little more.” His eyes roamed her curves, the random blossoming bruises that he’d likely put there, but they weren’t ugly, just testaments to her strength. Just another part of her beauty. C shifted forward and then he adjusted her hips and moved behind her. With all of the water it would have been difficult to enter her smoothly if she hadn’t been so wet, but with one thrust he was buried deep. Hot. Tight. Mine. They both groaned and she pressed back against him, so perfect, and he knew he was lost already. Her talented mouth, combined with too many years with absolutely no one, there was no way he’d have any control.

“Fuck…” Camille tightened down on him and rocked her hips forward and he growled and spanked her lightly.

“Be still and come for me.” Keeping himself still inside her he slipped his hand over her hip and brushed over her clit, when she jumped she gripped him again and he hissed air through his teeth. “Stay still.”

“I don’t know how the fuck you expect me to do that.”

“Because I asked you to.”

Collared (Vegas Nights Series) by Rayanna Jamison

Rayanna Jamison is here with her very hot book, Collared (Vegas Nights Series)!

An heiress in hiding......at a BDSM club...

Diamond Barrett has spent the last four years hiding in plain sight, working as a show girl in Las Vegas, trying to forget the painful memories of her mother's untimely death. When the details of the gruesome accident finally surface on the morning of her 25th birthday, Diamond's pain leads her to a series of bad choices that result in the loss of her job.

Now what?

Paxton Donovan's very presence exudes dominance and captures the attention of everyone around him. He has spent years creating his brand as a business owner and professional dominant. There is no time for anything that interferes with the order with which he runs his business and life. Structure, order, rules, discipline. Business without pleasure. No distractions.

But nothing could have prepared Pax for Diamond as their two worlds collide and both of their perfectly ordered and quiet lives combust. Will their undeniable attraction and intense passion be worth the risk of pain and heartache as they shatter their safe lives?

“I don’t want to eat. Can you just tell me what you have to say? Do you have a plan to get my job back?”

Pax scoffed at her. It was actually a full on laugh. “No. Once Jason makes up his mind about something, it’s done. There’s no going back. Man’s as stubborn as a pack mule. At least when it comes to business decisions,” he added as an afterthought.

“Oh.” Diamond frowned, and picked up a piece of toast, nervously ripping the crust into tiny pieces.

“I need a new girl. We need some fresh meat to keep up interest and provide regular… entertainment.”

Her eyes blazed, and she dropped her toast, suppressing the urge to pick up her steaming hot coffee and throw it in his face. “I am not a whore! And furthermore, I’m not desperate. I have options you know, plenty of them.” She actually only had one that she knew of, but he didn’t need to know that.

Pax stood, towering over her. He looked about as angry as she felt. “What are you talking about? Nobody called you a whore or even insinuated as much. You need to chill, girl. You might still be a little bit drunk or something, because you are making zero sense.”

“Oh yeah? Pax’s girls? Ring a bell? Isn’t that basically what you just asked me to be?”

His eyebrows crinkled high into his forehead, and he frowned. “Well, yes. But it doesn’t mean what you seem to think it means. I don’t think we’re on quite the same page here.”

“Oh, really? Enlighten me then.”

“Only if you dial back the attitude.”

“Fine.” It was her turn to cross her arms. She copied his stance from earlier and looked at him crossly. “I’m listening.”

“Rojo, if you didn’t know is a mild BDSM club with a focus on spanking. My girls dance the same as you did here. They don’t do anything else, other than serve the customers drinks and keep them happy and comfortable—and no, that doesn’t mean what you seem to think it means. The only difference is, well for one thing, I take care of my girls. Comped rooms, paid meals, monthly allowance, health insurance, all that jazz. I also pay better than Jason, but don’t tell him I said that. My girls also follow my rules. They keep a curfew, they eat healthy, they work out, and they show up on time. I keep them on a short leash. I want them in tip-top shape at all time. The kind of stunt you pulled last night would not be tolerated.”

“Right I get it. You’d toss me out on my ass—just like Jason is.”

“No. My girls mess up—they deal with the consequences. If you had been mine last night—and that was a regular occurrence—yeah, I’d get rid of you. You’d be a liability, and I’d have no choice. But unlike Jason, I pay attention to things like extenuating circumstances, and according to the things I learned from your file, coupled with the things I saw in yesterday’s paper—for you, last night certainly qualified as such.”

Pax was making it really hard to hate him the way she wanted to, and she kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. She couldn’t get past the idea that she was missing something. Something important.

“Thank you.” She was thankful for the kindness he was showing her, and the care he had apparently shown last night. “So, are you offering me a job?”

“On one condition.”

She stayed silent, waiting for him to continue.

“You’re tomorrow night’s entertainment. And that means, you accept the consequences for your mistakes last night. On stage. In front of a crowd.”

Writing has been a passion of mine since I was 9 years old, and I always dreamed of becoming an author, but life happens and sometimes that first step seems like a giant leap. I credit a life changing move from the Oregon to Utah in the fall of 2013 as the catalyst that began my writing career.

I now reside in Southern Utah with my husband, my two children, two dogs, my mother, my 90 year old grandfather and a lizard named Leo.

I write what I love to read, which is fun romantic stories about submission in its many forms, and often joke that my stories get slightly dirtier with each one I write. When I am not writing, I enjoy my passions, which include cooking, drinking good coffee and good wine, shopping for crazy knee socks, celebrating with sushi for every occasion, and most of all spending time with my friends and family.

Gideon – Order of the Black Knights, Book 1 By Ashe Barker

Ashe Barker's awesome new book is now available from Dreamspinner Press. Gideon – Order of the Black Knights, Book 1 is an MM erotic romance filled with suspense and paranormal intrigue!

Series Blurb
Order of the Black Knights

Every century has its knights, but they are not always seen. Some of them do what must be done—getting their hands dirty when no one else is willing. Assassins and antiheroes who work from the shadows, they are called the Black Knights. From the time of the society’s creation in the 1100s, these men are cursed to repeat their lives of bloodshed. But for each knight, there is one who can bring out the man that waits inside and break the cycle. The question is whether or not the knight will kill his true love before he figures it out.

Gideon Maybury enjoys a life of wealth and privilege, not to mention the advantages his position offers him in his career as a merchant banker and in his less public life as a high-class, skilled, and very well-paid assassin for Her Majesty's government. When his brother dies unexpectedly, he becomes the Duke of Westmoreland.

Michael Mathison has hated Gideon since they were at university together. He’s convinced Gideon had a hand in the death of Michael’s college lover, Christopher, and that he had something to do with the death of his own brother. So he gets a job as Gideon’s driver, enabling him to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of the elder Maybury sibling. At first his suspicions seem to be confirmed, but clues come to light that suggest all is not as it appears at Maybury Hall.

As the mystery deepens, so does the attraction between the two implacable enemies. Each has reasons not to trust the other, but neither is averse to a bit of kinky play. Gideon and Michael end up owing each other their lives, and it results in consequences neither could have imagined.

He had to be rid of the sexy driver. That much was clear, sadly. But he saw no reason to let him go without sampling the goods first. That would be just wasteful.
Gideon thrust his hips up and sought to force more and more of his throbbing cock between Michael’s teeth. Michael was on top and could control the depth, but he allowed Gideon to have his way. He angled his face, which directed the head of Gideon’s cock into the pocket of his cheek. At the same time, he increased the suction, and Gideon’s head spun.
“Christ. Fuck….” he muttered and jerked his hips sharply. “Take me in your throat, you bastard.”
Michael grunted his agreement, but didn’t immediately comply. Gideon made a mental note to make him fucking wait when the time came, and tightened his fingers around Michael’s nuts. At last he got the message and shifted position to accept more of Gideon’s cock. Michael lowered his face and took Gideon inch by slow, agonizing inch. It was clear he’d had practice—there was no gagging or backing off—but neither did Michael allow Gideon to force the pace. Oddly, having made his point and gotten things moving, Gideon was content to let Michael take charge. He lay still, and his breathing labored as his balls clenched in readiness. It wouldn’t be a long job.
The surge of pure pleasure was so intense, Gideon could almost ignore the tingling, crackling sensation that seemed to hover in the air whenever his driver was near, and the sizzle of electricity that arced whenever he actually touched him. Gideon and one of his many partners had played with a violet wand on one occasion. He hadn’t liked it that much, in truth, and the buzz that passed between them put him mind of that. Getting up close and personal with Michael was good—better than good—but disconcerting at the same time. Gideon wasn’t averse to a little sexual experimentation, but generally he knew what he liked, and it didn’t involve being plugged into the mains.
Gideon groaned and reached for Michael’s head. He tangled his fingers in Michael’s blond locks and pushed his face lower. Michael didn’t resist. He allowed Gideon’s cock to drive deeper into his throat. Gideon arched his back, closed his eyes, and gave himself over to the intense pleasure of shooting his load into the back of a handsome man’s throat.
Jesus, but my man is skilled at this. Such a pity he has to die.

Casey’s Choice by Alexis Alvarez

Alexis Alvarez is here with her new book, Casey’s Choice! And it's got everything - romance, BDSM and kink!

When trendy young artist Casey Reilly sneaks into Chicago’s most exclusive club under a fake name, it isn’t long before two rich, handsome men are vying for her attention. The club’s owner, billionaire Jax Hunter, is the first to make his move, but when he discovers her deception he has difficulty forgiving Casey.

After Hunter’s cold response to the truth about Casey’s identity leave her dejected, Max Abbott doesn’t waste time in stepping in to pick up the pieces, and he promptly gets to work on mending her broken heart. But when Hunter decides to try to win her back, Casey will have to make the most important choice of her life.

“What do you think, Casey? Think I know what to do?” He held up his hands, ran one finger over his lips. “Think I know how to make a woman scream in pleasure?” He raised one eyebrow. “Answer me.” His voice was harder now. “Tell me what you think I might do to you tonight if you’re a good girl.” He sat up and leaned his elbows on his knees. “Or else you won’t get anything from me.”

She sucked in a breath. “I think – I think your lips are like magic. If you lick my clit, it will feel like a butterfly kiss, like raindrops, like a storm on the sea. Your fingers will touch me like a thousand points of pleasure. And if you fuck me…” her voice trailed off.

“Yes?”

“I’ll combust.”

His eyes flashed at her, dark and dangerous. “Walk to the kitchen.”

“What?”

“You heard me.” He stood up. “We’re going to find a few things, Casey, and I’ll need your help.”

“What kind of things?” Nervous now, she shifted from one foot to the other.

“What kinds of things?” he mused. “Well, considering you begged for a punishment, maybe you can use your imagination. I’m surely going to.” He put one hand on her shoulder to guide her. “You are going to find me ten different implements I can use to spank you, Casey. And if they’re not severe enough, I’ll make you pick five more. Understand?”

She gulped. “Severe enough?”

“That’s right. Pick a few things that you think will sting. And a few that will hurt like hell.” He gave her one sharp slap on her ass that made her squeal and jump. “Understand me?” He gave her a wicked smile.

Resurrection By Ashe Barker

Ashe Barker' s new book - Resurrection is now available! And she's here to share it all with us! Take it away, Ashe :)

Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction. No spoilers, but Resurrection just screamed at me to be written and as the story unfolds in there are some amazing twists in the tale, extraordinary events which really did happen and will never be repeated. Add in the romance of time travel, not to mention an über-sexy vampire and five hundred years of English history and there is a fabulous story to be told. I loved writing it, I hope readers enjoy Resurrection as much as I have.

Right from the start she knew it wasn't about love.

As the youngest daughter of a wealthy family in medieval England, Lady Jane of Acton has been betrothed to Gerard Twyfford, the son of the Earl of Roseworth, since she was a baby. A dynastic marriage such as theirs is about power and property, not love but even so Jane desperately yearns for her husband's approval. But Gerard’s rare visits to her bed are for the sole purpose of producing an heir, and she’s even failed at that. How can Jane win Gerard over when she cannot even be the wife he needs her to be?

Would one last chance be enough? Could he make things right, even now?

Ged Twyfford doesn't know what he's missing in life. A powerful vampire, he’s lived for close to six hundred years and seen a lot during his time but his past still haunts him. On a whim, he purchases Roseworth castle, the keep he used to rule as lord. Mostly in ruins now, Roseworth is a shell of what it was when he was still a mortal but Ged is determined to make it his home again. Maybe this is what he's been missing, maybe he needs a place to belong at last.

When a woman emerges from the lake beside his castle, looking and sounding a lot like the wife he lost over five centuries ago, Ged assumes she's a witch out to dupe him. But what if she is who she claims to be? Ged finally realizes just what he had, and just how precious to him was the wife he betrayed all those hundreds of years ago.

Do they really have a second chance or is it just too late to start over?

"My lord? Is there a problem?" She could surmise from his stormy countenance as he glared at her across the room that all was not well.
"You attended Norfolk's bath. Against my express instructions." His normally bland tone had taken on a cold edge. Jane did not care for it.
"My lord, I but—"
"Do you seek to deny it?" He did not raise his voice, but Jane found herself in no doubt as to the depth of his displeasure even so,
"No, but I—"
Her husband strolled across the room to glance out of the window then turned his head to regard her over his shoulder. "I informed you, did I not, soon after your arrival in this keep, that I did not expect my wife to perform such services. Have my wishes in this matter slipped your mind completely, my lady?"
"Of course not, my lord, and I thank you for your consideration. But I am lady here, and the Duke is an exalted guest in our house. It is expected that I should attend to his ablutions personally. It... it is my duty and my right as Lady of Roseworth."
He turned to face her fully now, leaning back against the window sill in a posture deceptively casual. He folded his arms across his wide chest and regarded her under lowered brows. His azure eyes glittered, reminding her of icy flints. Not for the first time Jane observed him to be a most handsome man, and utterly intimidating.
Despite her trepidation Jane stood before her husband, her spine stiff and her shoulders back. Gerard might neglect her all he would, but she would not readily permit him to deprive her of her sole remaining purpose in life. She took pride in the quality of her housekeeping, and her responsibilities as lady of the hall included assisting important guests in bathing. It was not a duty she much cared for, and the knowledge that her husband would not insist upon it had been welcome enough. His rank alone was the reason she had made this exception for the Duke of Norfolk.
Her husband narrowed his eyes. Jane stepped back, her brief flash of temper dissipating. Whilst not scared of him exactly, she harboured a healthy respect for Gerard and knew him to have a temper though rarely was it directed at her. He set high store by obedience though, and it was distinctly possible that she had overstepped the mark in her defiance.
"Your right, madam? Your duty? May I remind you that your duty is to obey me. My instructions were clear and you chose to do otherwise."
Jane's heart sank. "But—"
"Norfolk is a lecher, as more than one hapless lady is able to testify. I would not have you alone with him, or with any man in such a situation. It is not safe."
"He would never behave inappropriately. Not here, not in my own home."
In truth, she had found the entire episode distasteful and Jane had no reason to doubt the accuracy of her husband's assessment of the man. Norfolk had leered at her as he undressed, sauntering around the bedchamber with his huge, thick cock bobbing before her eyes. He was clearly aroused by her presence in his chamber and insisted upon making sure she was aware of it. Given the slightest hint of encouragement, he might well have pressed his luck further as her husband clearly suspected. She had seen no point in allowing the vile nobleman to know that despite five years of marriage to a man no one would describe as other than virile, Jane was in fact a virgin. This was the first time she had found herself in close proximity to a naked male and she struggled to conceal her revulsion. Jane did what needed to be done and made her excuses as hastily as she decently could.
The duke had seemed to her to be well enough pleased at the courtesy shown him. Jane rather resented this interference now from a husband who really ought to be more appreciative of her efforts on his behalf.
"You put yourself in danger, and I will not have it, Jane. It is my responsibility to protect you, to keep you safe."
"I do not consider that I was in danger, my lord."
"I do. What is more, I see in your face that you know I am right in this. Even if Norfolk were the most perfect of gentlemen, he is still a man and you are very young. Inexperienced. God's bones, madam, you are still a virgin and men's bathing chambers are no place for you."
"If I am still a virgin, sir, whose fault is that?"
The moment the words were out Jane regretted them, wished she could gather up her reckless remarks and swallow them again whole. The accusation, the complaint, the implied slur hovered in the air between them as her husband's features hardened into a stern but incredulous mask.
"I see we have much to resolve, Jane. We shall start with the matter of your wilful and dangerous flouting of my instructions." He pushed himself away from the wall and strolled past her to sit on the side of her bed. "You will come here, Jane, and lay face down across my lap. You may keep your shift on if you wish, but you will raise it above your waist."
Jane gaped at him, aghast. "I will not!"
"Jane, if I have to come and get you, it shall be a switch you feel across your bare arse, not merely my hand. Do not make this worse."
"I.. I... you cannot beat me."
"You are my wife, mine to discipline as I see fit. I will not beat you, but you have earned a thorough spanking and you shall have it, my lady. You may submit to this punishment, or not, that is your choice. It will happen anyway."
